Returns Policy

Each order is thoroughly quality controlled and checked before it is shipped to the customer from the Diff Technics Kogarah Warehouse.

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately, in order for us to make it right - in the unforeseen circumstance that your order is:

  • Short Supplied / Missing any installation hardware
  • You have received the incorrect product/s
  • Faulty/Damaged
  • Change of Mind (Accepted only if goods being returned are in re-saleable condition - Please see below clarifications)

Diff Technics will happily assist customers who wish to return items purchased from our online store, provided that:

  • All items must be returned within 30 days from the date of receipt of order
  • To start the Return process, you must complete the Returns RMA Number Request Form HERE
  • We will then send you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) Number  which must accompany the returned goods
The return goods must be accompanied by the following:
  1. The RMA Number we have supplied you
  2. Proof of Purchase must be provided (Invoice Number/Order Confirmation Number)
  3. Positive ID will be required (Copy of Driver’s License)  Note: You must be the original purchaser of the goods (Name on Order must be the same as proof of ID)
All returns must be in re-saleable condition, meaning that;
    • in their original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories
    • unopened, unused, and in their original condition.
  • Due to varying nature of products, refunds will be dealt with on a case by case basis
  • All freight on goods returned must be pre-paid by customer
  • There is a restocking fee on all returns, levied up to 15% of the purchase price of the returned item.
  • Please retain proof of return shipment, as we are not responsible for goods being returned to us that are lost in transit.


When returning an item, please over-box or securely wrap.

  • Doing so will help to prevent damage to the manufacturer’s packaging which would then make the item non-resalable and therefore non-returnable.


    • Refunds will be made within 5 working days of receipt of the returned goods to the original payment form.  Your bank may take up to 7 working days to credit your account.
    • Please note shipping costs are not refunded unless item is faulty.

    You do not have the right to return a product when:

    • In the case that any of the above detailed conditions are not met/satisfied
    • Ordered the wrong product
    • Found the product cheaper elsewhere
    • Product was sold as a Custom Item
    • Product was sold as a Pre-Order item
    • Product was sold as a clearance or reduced item
    • Damaged the product by misusing it
    • Product has developed problems due to wear and tear
    • You do not have the right to return if you are not the original purchaser
    • Any goods returned to our warehouse which do not have an RMA Number and accompanying documents, cannot be processed and the return will be rejected and goods will be returned to the customer, with shipping costs charged to the customer
    • Please note that receipt of goods by our warehouse should not be seen as an obligation by us to issue a credit, or to provide you with an exchange/refund, prior to the evaluation of the returned goods by our Returns Department (as specified above)

    If you receive an item that has been damaged in shipping, please contact us HERE within 24 hours of receipt of your order, provide us with your name, Invoice number/Order Number, descriptions of any damaged goods, and also include photos and we will do our best to assist you.  Please hold on to the original packaging and packing material, as these are required in order to initiate a claim with our courier company.

  • NOTE:

    Any part(s) which in our opinion, shows evidence of being used or installed contrary to manufacturer's instructions and/or subjected to improper handling, packaging or shipping by the customer will not be eligible for exchange, refund or warranty consideration.  We reserve the right to charge a restocking or disposition fee or to refuse the return of any exceptions.  No returns accepted beyond 3 months after the date of shipment.
