These CV Axles are a direct bolt-in to the factory differential stubs and include new hardware for installation (that is 40% stronger than the factory design)
The CV assemblies are the thicker Porsche style 108mm CV, featuring chromoly CV cages
Features 300M Torsional 28 spline rolled centre bars, the DSS special heat treat and temper, and powder coated
CV Axles built with Anti-Wheel Hop Design & Technology, using two different sized diameter bars between left and right axle

Anti-wheel hop Design & Technology

One of our dealers asked us to make a set of axles with different diameters. The reason for this was to help with Wheel Hop on certain cars. This technology is not something new and it was actually created by both GM and Chrysler for Corvettes and SRT8 models. Like those cars it works quite well.

When the torque is applied to the rear wheels through the drivetrain, the axles torsionally twist at a certain rate. On cars with certain types of suspension, they both twist and release simultaneously and cause the wheels to “HOP”. With different diameter bars this “wrap up and release” happens at different times helping the wheels to spin. On a street/strip car this is a great thing but, keep in mind like the factory ones it will have limitations.

Please keep in mind a high-performance race car will need the axles to be the same diameter for obvious reasons stated above. Choose Your Parts Wisely…..
