    NOTE:  The only necessary modification is the tip of the rear seat belt bolt that protrudes into the driveshaft tunnel must be ground down to provide adequate clearance for the driveshaft.

    Description:

    This 1400HP 1-piece driveshaft from DSS, made from 3.25” Carbon Fibre, comes with 7075-T6 Aluminium 1350 series Direct fit Flange Yoke that will bolt directly to the 3-finger flange on the rear, eliminating the adapter plate.

    Just unbolt the factory 2-piece shaft, install the 1-piece shaft with the included hardware and go. The only necessary modification is the tip of the rear seat belt bolt that protrudes into the driveshaft tunnel must be ground down to provide adequate clearance for the driveshaft. Changing the shaft in this car is perhaps one of the most noticeable performance enhancements you can do as the car will have better throttle response and feel smoother overall. Not only is it lighter but the hanger bearing on the factory driveshaft moves up and down violently when the car is being driven hard. This action is not only dangerous but robs the drive train of power.

    This driveshaft is balanced on our new exclusive 9500Rpm balancing machine. This new machine, can spin a 8kg/17lb shaft to actual speeds of over 9000 RPM. Most driveshaft balancers only spin from 400-3000 RPM (most average about 1000 RPM). This machine was custom made for us and high-speed balancing is offered as a separate service, only from The Drive Shaft Shop.
